Skunk smell, it can be so difficult to remove it. Worse, it permeates everything, and unless you can rid of skunk odor quickly, you will have the pleasure, it smells like a long time have. An interesting fact: the main cause of death is skunk hit by cars - apparently skunks are not afraid of anything and have not developed as such a habit to get out of the way in the next car. I thought it was pretty funny, then again what animal would, on the terrible smell much they would be safe,to obtain, for the attack on a skunk?
That being said, is to remove skunk odor possible, though not so simple. To a large extent it depends on who or what the skunks sprayed - no matter, it is very important that the smell as soon as possible, otherwise everything will smell in your house to remove skunk penetrate.
If you are a skunk sprayed on the clothes in a washer machine immediately, and take a shower. If your dog has been taken, well, you could run into difficulties, asYour dog will be all around your house to run the spread of the odor. What you want is to keep your dog outside (or not allow in only one room), to spread the smell. Wash your dog (use rubber gloves) and try to see where she was sprayed.
A good homemade solution for removing skunk odor is a mixture of 1 liter of 3% hydrogen peroxide, 1 / 4 cup baking soda and 1 tablespoon of dishwashing liquid. However, since hydrogen peroxide may cause bleaching, you can use vinegarinstead of diluted (in water, of course.) use this mixture on your dog or whatever the skunk sprayed, and you should be able to get rid of skunk odor.
